Visit Bristol (Visit West) says there will be a visit from Father Christmas (listed as "Santa's visits to the market") at the 2026 event, but had not published its dates, times or price when we checked. Getting There and Parking

By Train

Bristol Temple Meads is the main station, managed by Network Rail, with step-free access to all platforms. Cabot Circus, at the eastern end of the market, describes Temple Meads as its nearest mainline station and a 15 minute walk away along Temple Way, with buses from the station forecourt if you would rather ride. In a straight line the station is about three quarters of a mile from Broadmead. Cabot Circus also says there are direct trains from Bath, Cardiff, London and Exeter through the day.

Park and Ride

Three park and ride sites have buses that serve Broadmead or Cabot Circus. Parking is free and you pay the bus fare. Service 9 (Stagecoach West) links Brislington and Portway through the centre, calling at Temple Meads, Cabot Circus and Broadmead. From Long Ashton, the 505 and the m2 metrobus run to the city centre and Broadmead. On services 9 and 505 an adult single was £2.60 and an anytime return £3.50 in October 2026. The sites are outside the Clean Air Zone. Brislington, Long Ashton and Portway are locked at night and close early on Sundays (19:30, 20:00 and 21:30), so check the last bus.
