Leamington Christmas Market 2026

Leamington Spa station is on Old Warwick Road, on the south side of the town centre, and is managed by Chiltern Railways. It is about a third of a mile from the Parade in a straight line (worked out from coordinates, not a walking distance), and the walk is north through the town centre. National Rail lists step-free access to all platforms, with lifts.

The organiser lists St Peter's multi-storey, Royal Priors, Bedford Street and Covent Garden surface as the local car parks. All but Royal Priors are Warwick District Council's. Its pages give one daytime tariff, 8am to 6pm, with no Sunday exception: £1.55 or £1.70 for an hour and £5.90 for four hours (read October 2026). The surface car parks are short stay, so St Peter's is the one for a longer visit. On Sunday 15 November, the lights switch-on day, the council's off-street car parks in Leamington are free from 8am; Royal Priors and on-street charges still apply. Blue Badge holders are not charged at St Peter's, where the lift was out of use when we checked.

Leamington's Big Lights Switch On is on Sunday 15 November 2026, the same day as that week's market. The district council says the market starts at 10am, music begins on the stage outside the Town Hall at 3pm and the Mayor switches the lights on at 5.30pm. The organiser lists the market that day as running until 7pm, two hours later than on the other Sundays. Nearby, Warwick's Victorian Evening is on Thursday 26 November from 3pm, with its lights switched on at 7pm.

The Parade is the main street of the town centre, running north from the Pump Rooms. Anywhere in the streets either side of it is a few minutes' walk from the stalls, and the area around the station and the old town to the south is ten minutes or so on foot. Warwick is a short train or bus ride away if Leamington is full.
