Getting There and Parking
By Train
Windsor has two stations and both are close. Windsor & Eton Central, managed by Great Western Railway, is reached by a six-minute branch train from Slough, which has GWR trains from London Paddington and Reading and the Elizabeth line; Visit Windsor puts Paddington to Windsor at about 35 minutes. Windsor & Eton Riverside, managed by South Western Railway, has direct trains from London Waterloo taking about 55 minutes. In a straight line Central is about 200 metres from the middle of Peascod Street and Riverside about 500 metres (worked out from the coordinates). Central is step-free to all platforms; Riverside is too, though possibly by ramps or the street.

Parking
Of the borough's town centre car parks, Victoria Street multi-storey is far cheaper than River Street. For a whole day the car parks by the coach park on Alma Road cost less: Alexandra Gardens, and Windsor Dials, which opens to the public only at weekends and bank holidays and so is available for the market. Charges apply 9am to 9pm every day. Blue Badge holders park free in any bay in council car parks. Shopmobility, in Alexandra Gardens car park, hires out scooters and wheelchairs from 10am to 5pm daily. Visit Windsor still names Home Park and King Edward VII as car parks, but the council stopped running both on 1 April 2026. Prices read October 2026.

Where to Stay
Peascod Street runs downhill from the castle through the middle of Windsor, so anywhere in the town centre is within a few minutes' walk of the stalls, as are both stations. Eton, just across the bridge over the Thames, is walkable too. Places further out, towards Legoland or Old Windsor, need a bus or a car.
